Creed Aventus Clones

Yep. I am writing about perfume clones already.

News was known today that the centuries-old perfume house Creed has been sold to BlackRock Long Term Capital and the Spanish businessman Javier Ferran. If you check perfume lists online, Aventus is the most popular creation  by Creed. And it's also one of the most expensive. Reading one reaction that declares the move as a final nail in the coffin of the perfume powerhouse, let us set aside the politics of perfume-making industry for the meanwhile and let me share my current classification, sort of my personal grouping on Creed Aventus clones that has been riding the success of the original, hyper popular scent that is considered the Holy Grail of men's perfumes.

I wanted to share my Top 10 or Top 15 list of CA clones but it's boring and I rather make a tree structure on the result of how I classify them. I'm just trusting my nose here.

When I started my perfume collection last 2018 I have been keeping a list of these Creed Aventus Clones. If you're a niche head and a perfume clone snob, you can start laughing. I know how crazy it is to identify these clones and categorize them and I know that I can actually buy a bottle of original Creed Aventus in lieu of these clones but believe me, identifying each "flavor" has its own merit. It somehow practices your olfactory skill. Whatever that means.

I own a decanted version of Aventus by the way and whenever I visit my favorite shop I always take time to check and try testing their latest Aventus tester bottle for bench marking of sort.

  1. Thank you for your review. I really liked the classification chart. You have great connoisseur on fragrance!
BTW, where is your favorite perfume shop located? I am very skeptic of purchasing fragrance online in Dubai due to the counterfeit market. If you could recommend places where one can buy original products (apart from the merchandise shop, off-course), I would really appreciate.

    1. Hello. So sorry to read your comment late.
If you're okay with the standard market price you can always go to Mall of Emirates because most the shops there are legit, they have Zara, they even have a Creed shop if you are hunting for Aventus. If you are looking for Middle Eastern flavors, they also have them there, they have mini shops for Armaf, Arabian Oud, Rasasi, et al. If you want legit bottles but with extra discounts, you can always try my favorite shop near ADCB Metro Station, located in Karama area. The shop's name is Vinlexe Perfumes.
      You're welcome!
