The Best Perfume for Men in 2020
Voting for Fragrantica Reader's Choice Awards 2020 is ongoing and members like me might be busy in casting our votes but for now, let me say sorry to Creed fanatics, Tom Ford niche heads, and even private perfume house loyalists because the best perfume for men that was released this year belongs to a clone---this ultra-fusion scent inspired heavily by Christian Dior Homme Intense and Valentino Uomo Intense aptly named ODYSSEY HOMME Eau De Parfum by the UAE clone house of Armaf.
The perfect balance of sweetness that is far from being cloying is the best attribute of this perfume. Longevity may be average (3 hours max) and initial reactions of this perfume online may be targeting how ugly the bottle is, and how it blatantly copies two of the most loved perfumes for men but if you are able to try this scent, forget about what the snobs say. Heck, if Fragrantica heavily promotes Montblanc Explorer in the voter's choice for two straight years, why diss this scent for the first place? Both of them are just inspired by popular (and some overhyped) scents, but as long as copying scents are NOT OUTLAWED, then clones are definitely here to stay.
Top Notes: Vanilla, Amber
Middle/Heart Notes: Iris, Oriental Spices
Perfect for Winter up to Vernal Equinox, and even in Summer nights!
This ultra-fusion-clone is the best of 2020 for me and I'm not joking. |
